Epigastric Pain series 5 EXPERT COURSE [EE Case 23]

EE23 (Plain CT, 10mm slice) A 76 years old man. Past history: proximal gastrectomy with jejunum interposition (Fig. A) for gastric cancer 2 years ago. Since then, he had four episodes of small bowel obstructions those were treated conservatively each time. He was taken to the hospital due to gradual aggravating epigastric pain with vomiting for several hours. Temperature: 36.5Ž, abdomen was soft but there was tenderness in epigastrium and bowel sounds were increased.
