He presented with epigastric pain and vomiting persisting over 12 hours. He ate kimchi (Korean pickles) and devil's-tongue jelly (konjac food, thread konnyaku) for the last meal. Temperature: 36.6 degrees Celsius. His abdomen was distended, and mild tenderness was noticed over epigastrium. |
