Epigastric Pain series 7 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 35]

ER Case 35 (10mm slice) A 48-year-old male with a past history of appendectomy at age of 8 years. He presented with sudden onset of intermittent epigastric pain and nausea developed several hours ago. Temperature: 38.0 degrees Celsius, abdominal exam revealed mild tenderness in epigastrium, but without rebound or guarding. Bowel sounds were increased and high-pitched metallic sounds were audible.
