Epigastric Pain series 7 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 31]

ER Case 31 (10mm slice) A 30-year-old male. He has a history of intestinal obstruction without prior history of abdominal surgery, which was resolved by conservative management. He developed an acute onset of epigastric pain after evening meal followed by vomiting. He was taken to the hospital due to increased intensity of abdominal pain in early following morning. The temperature was 37.0 degree Celsius. There was tenderness over epigastrium to the left side of umbilicus without rebound tenderness or muscle guarding.
