Epigastric Pain series 6 EXPERT COURSE [EE Case 29]

EE Case 29 (10mm slice) A 54-year-old male with a past history of cholecystectomy by midline incision at age of 42 years. He developed intermittent epigastric pain with each episode lasting for 5 minutes for one day. His abdominal pain persisted without any oral intake which prompted his hospital visit. Temperature: 37.2 degrees Celsius, abdominal examination revealed tenderness around scar of midline incision, but without rebound tenderness or muscle guarding.
