Epigastric Pain series 4 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 18]ER Case 18 (10mm slice): An 80-year-old male with a past history of open cholecystectomy at age of 60 years. He developed epigastric pain on the previous day, and was treated as gastritis. On the next morning, pain aggravated and vomiting was followed. Body temperature: 37.9 degrees Celsius. Abdominal examination showed tenderness, rebound tenderness and mild muscle guarding around umbilicus. Fig.1-Fig.4 and Fig.9-Fig.12 are noncontrasted CT. Fig.5-Fig.8 and Fig.13-Fig.16 are contrast-enhanced CT taken three hours after noncontrasted CT. |
