Special Edition of Obstruction1 RESIDENT COURSE [ObR Case 5]

Case ObR 5 (7mm slice): An 81-year-old female. A past history : open cholecystectomy for gallstones at age of 31 years, appendectomy at age of 21 years. She presented with gradually aggravating abdominal pain and vomiting for 12 hours. Upper GI endoscope was performed for request of the patient, but no significant findings were found. Temperature: 36.5 degrees Celsius, abdominal examination showed fully-distended bowels with tenderness in the entire lower abdominal without rebound tenderness or muscle guarding.
