Epigastric Pain series 3 RESIDENT COURSE [ER Case 11]ER Case 11 (10mm slice): A 59-year-old male with a past history of duodenal ulcer at age of 18 years. Epigastric pain and nausea developed three hours ago and he was taken to the hospital because pain rapidly increased in intensity. Temperature: 36.9 degrees Celsius. Abdominal examination showed tenderness and board-like rigidity over the epigastrium, and bowel sounds were decreased. |
