Epigastric Pain series 1 EXPERT COURSE [EE Case 5]EE Case 5 (10mm slice):A 57-year-old male has been treated for duodenal ulcer three years ago. He used to have epigastric pain before and between meals for one month, which was relieved by commercially available antacids. He developed intense epigastric pain 24 hours ago and was taken to ER in the following morning. Body temperature: 37.8 degrees Celsius. Physical examination showed tenderness and rebound tenderness in epigastrium, but without muscle guarding. |
